Celebrating more than 70 years of choral excellence....
"....to support classical choral music literature...."
Anthony Bianchi of Uniontown, Ohio, has been heavily involved in choral music from a young age. He graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting Performance. His principal mentor was Dr. Samuel Gordon, but also studied under other choral and vocal teachers including Dr. Ann Usher and Dr. Laurie Lashbrook.
Anthony has dedicated most of his musical career to church music where he has served as the "Music and Worship Director" of United Methodist Church of Macedonia, the "Director of Choral and Music Development" at United Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls as well as the "Minister of Music" at Firestone Park Presbyterian Church in Akron.
Anthony has performed choral music over the last 25 years in various locations across the world including multiple performances in New York, Chicago, and Washington D.C., as well as several performances in Italy, Austria, and Germany.
The Chagrin Valley Choral Union is pleased to have had Anthony as our Artistic Director from the 2018-2019 season forward.
